So, let’s go over each of the features of this boot. Aside from sizes and anatomical fit, these boots are available for both genders.

At Frist Glance

Now, when you first look at this boot, you’ll probably think that it’s just a black weight lifting boot. You know what, you are probably right. That’s all this really is. It’s not your heavy-duty work boot.

You can see that it has a combination of a traditional tactical look with an added styling of a sports boot. Overall, it looks quite sleek. The UA logo blends in quite well without distraction from the professional look of the boot.

If you are into construction work or same kind of working industry, you can just tell by looking at that. It’s not meant to last a long time. This is not a shovel kicker, it’s meant for your average day to day household work.

If you are a young guy, a delivery man or a security guard, or you just want to look cool and feel good, this is a good boot for you.

Outer Specs & Construction

There are mixtures up top with rubberized nylon. These are some really cool stuff, it fits well and this boot wraps around the foot. The UA ClutchFit technology on this boot wraps your ankle with a lightweight “second skin” feel.

It’s for powerful support & incredible feel. You could say this is running shoe that has a little bit more height on it.
Construction of this boot was a bit of a let down for us. Some of the parts are glued together, some of them are sewn.

To be honest, it’s not going to last very long. Keep that in mind when you purchase one of these. If you plan to use it every single day, then consider switching to Bates 8” Velocitor Zip Waterproof boot.

Comfort Is The Key Selling Point

As you can tell from the construction, these boots are way too soft. The materials are lightweight to tackle any real workload. That’s also the key selling point of these boots. Without a doubt, they are super comfortable.

If you want to move around in comfort with a little ankle protection, this is the boot for you.

They have also added a side zip. It’s a nice feature to have if you want to take out your boots in a flash. At the top of the collar, they have added a nice little touch. They have added some neoprene up there, it feels nice. It feels like there is gel around your ankle which is a comfortable feature to have.

Under the boot, it has a full-length Micro G foam. It gives you a nice cushioned landing and works for those explosive takeoffs. This technology is perfect for technical uses. It is super responsive and sensitive which gives the wearer of this boot excellent stability without sacrificing comfort.

If you are used to wearing typical tactical style boots, you are up for a sweet treat. Because these boots offer nice flexibility. You can run in them or wear them throughout the day while running errands. This boot won’t require any break-in period.

Under Armour Men's Valsetz RTS

Inside The Valsetz

Inside the UA Valsetz RTS boots, you’re going to find a basic Under Armour insole. It’s nothing fancy but feels comfortable. As we have already told you, this is a lightweight boot, to be precise this is a running boot. If you are a construction worker, it won’t do any good.

Traction

If you want to walk up and down and your job requires you to do so and you are looking for something comfortable then the Under Armour Balsetz Rts is for you. On any surface, whether it’s concrete, wood, marble, tile, the sole on this is really good for them.

Its ClutchFit technology really sticks to the ankle and foot which reduces the chance of a rolled ankle. Thanks to its rubber lug sole, it provides sufficient traction.

Lacing System

Under Armour did a good job on the lacing system. This is how this boot should look. Polypropylene on the side, little plastic eyelids and round laces, this was what we expected from them.

At first, we thought that it has those shock cord laces but when we got a closer look, they are just normal round laces. Nothing fancy here.

Drawbacks Of The UA Valsetz RTS

Durability, you are not going to get most service time out of them. It shouldn’t come as a surprise though. The way the Valsetz RTS is constructed, those lightweight material are better suited for weekly use. Under Armour focused more on the comfort than durability. Hold on, they’ve already backed you up for this.

Under Armour Boots Lifetime Warranty

What’s really cool about them is that you’ll get under armour boots lifetime warranty. They are true to their promises of “Lifetime Warranties” and exceptional customer service. Shout out to Under Armour for providing awesome customer support.

Under Armour Valsetz Waterproof?

Not really. These boots are made using water-resistant material not waterproof. Any good tactical footwear should provide protection from the elements. This isn’t what we would call a winter boot, but it’ll keep your foot warm in cold weather. The TPU shank is also great for weather and terrain resistance.

Breathability

These boots aren’t super breathable but should give you enough comfort in hot, humid weather. Its Ortholite antimicrobial sockliner will keep sweat and smell down to a minimum.
